The first public domain database for diabetes drugs. In silico prediction methods represent an efficient approach for the prediction of diabetes drugs, aiming to explain preclinical drug development and therefore enabling the reduction of associated time, costs and experiments. DIA-DB is a web application for the in silico prediction of diabetes drugs, which uses two different approaches:
The server is open to all users. registration is not necessary, and a detailed report with the prediction results is sent to the user by email. | Bioinformatics and High-Performance Computing Research Group
“Addressing joint Agro- and Aqua-Biodiversity pressures Enhancing SuSTainable Rural Development” (aka BEST) is the project approved under Priority Axis 2 Integrated Environmental Management, Specific Objective 2.2, “Improvement of joint management and governance plans for biodiversity of coastal and rural ecosystems, paying attention on natural resources and protected areas and development of environmental“, under the INTERREG Greece–Italy 2014-2020 programme. | Region of Ionian Islands
The “PROTECT” project is aiming to provide insight on the chemical space requirements to develop selective modulators for the undruggable oncogenic Intrinsically Disordered Proteins (IDPs) and to generate programmable, cancer selective and cancer responsive drug delivery vehicles for their selective transport in cancer cells. | University of Florence, Italy
The main scope of the ExploreOpuntia project is the exploitation of different genotypes of the Greek varieties of Opuntia (Opuntia ficus – indica) by implementing various processes in order to obtain higher value-added products. Compared with other plants, Opuntia provides a wide range of exploitation potential due to the processing ability of various parts of the plant. The present project focuses on the integrated use of Opuntia to produce powders, isolate different colorants, encapsulate mixtures of sugars/colorants, isolate edible oil, and to produce bio-products from the young cladodes (flattened stems) or nopalitos, from the cactus, seeds fruit, and the peels. | Agricultural University of Athens (Coordinator)
The main scope of the Epirustonic project is the development of a natural mineral water product, enriched with antioxidant herbal ingredients collected from the region of Epirus. | Vikos – Epirotic Bottling Industry S.A. (Coordinator)
| |
The main scope of the Epirus Cosmeceuticals project is the exploitation of pharmaceutical and aromatic plants of the Region of Epirus for the development of anti-aging preparations and functional dairy products. | Help Pharmaceuticals S.A. (Coordinator)
FOODBIOMES is a new distributed research infrastructure of the Agri-food sector established in Greece that aims to offer world class research, education and innovation services exploring the impact of microbiome applications in food systems. | Democritus University of Thrace (Coordinator)
The object and aim of THERANOSTIC4GLIO is the design, synthesis and characterization of a therapeutical molecule for the simultaneous diagnosis and treatment of glioblastoma. | SYN INNOVATION Laboratories SA (Coordinator)
The Green STEM project aims to equip future STEM teachers and trainees in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Greece, and Turkey with the knowledge and skills needed to integrate sustainable practices and green chemistry principles into their teaching | South-West University “Neofit Rilski” (SWU), Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria (Coordinatior) |
